Located a three-hour hike up from historic Bandipur village through a lovely unspoiled valley surrounded by verdant forest, as its name suggests, this 12-room garden lodge is positioned for sublime views of a trio of peaks: Manaslu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri.
Rooms are warm and welcoming, large and simply decorated. En-suite bathrooms powered by solar electricity elevate your experience well above the local norm. The room’s true worth lies in the heroic view of the Himalayas from each private balcony or veranda, where it’s all too tempting to sit and marvel for much of the day, and on moonlit nights.
The boutique, intimate feel here inspires tranquility and focus. Uncluttered white walls and honey-colored woods bring a Scandi vibe to match the clarity of the mountain air, while traditional Nepali textiles and brightly painted exteriors bring in the vibrant local culture. Evenings begin with an open bar, and drinks served around a roaring fire. Almost throughout the season, communal breakfast can be enjoyed outside.
A single flagstone street smoothed by centuries of village life, flanked by ancient temples and handsome homes whose balconies spill over with crimson bougainvillea, all set against magnificent valley views.Experience Details

Hill trekking is what a stay at this resort is all about. It is ideally positioned for getting out into the manageable mountainous landscape, crossing pahads, hiking forests and trails overlooking valleys, down to cave systems. Rafting, bird-watching, mountain-biking, yoga, are all on offer. And definitely don’t miss a visit to historic and charming Bandipur village.
We walked into the restaurant and fell in love with the location. The view of sunrise from our balcony was ethereal, no need to go hunting for view points. Tucked away on top of a hill with an hour of backbreaking approach road, it is totally worth the effort. Staff are excellent and take amazing care. Go, if you value the seclusion and the opportunity to commune with nature!

It is off the beaten path, a 3-hr easy hike from the town of Bandipur. The place is absolutely peaceful with the view of Manaslu, Annapurna mountain ranges over 8,000 meters perpetually high covered in snow
